We are pleased to announce Professor William Wang's appointment to the Mellichamp Chair in Artificial Intelligence and Designs effective July 1, 2020. 

The Mellichamp Chair in Artificial Intelligence & Desgin was established to support an outstanding scholar who will bring collaboration among several departments to explore interaction between human mind and intelligent machines. Prof Wang's leadership and accomplishments in the areas of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and natural language processing distinguish him as an excellent choice for this appointment.
