Prof. Matthew Turk receives ICMI Community Service Award

The ACM International Conference on Multimodal Interaction has awarded Prof. Matthew Turk the inaugural ICMI Community Service Award, presented at the ICMI conference banquet on November 13th, for his contributions to the multimodal interaction research community. According to the ICMI, "the award is presented to an individual who has made sustained organizational contributions to build and diversify ICMI, including the creation of mechanisms to promote intellectual and multidisciplinary exchange and the expansion of opportunities for student training and participation."
