2011 ACM Fellows: Prof. Divyakant Agrawal and Prof. Linda Petzold

University of California at Santa Barbara Computer Science professor Divyakant Agrawal was named a 2011 ACM Fellow for his “contributions to distributed data management systems.”

University of California at Santa Barbara Computer Science professor Linda Petzold was named a 2011 ACM Fellow for her “contributions to computational science.”

The ACM Fellows Program celebrates the exceptional contributions of the leading members in the computing field. These individuals have helped to enlighten researchers, developers, practitioners and end-users of information technology throughout the world. These new ACM Fellows join a distinguished list of colleagues to whom ACM and its members look for guidance and leadership in computing and information technology.

The Computer Science Department at UCSB now has six ACM fellows.
