"Brian's talk is (surprisingly!) about Open Source and how and why. He will speak for about 45 minutes with a portion of that being his bio mixed in with the history of the genesis of open source, and then a completely open question and answer period for another 45 minutes. The final 30 minutes are reserved for post-talk interaction and mingling."
Bio: Brian Fox is the CEO and co-founder of Opus Logica. He was the first employee of the Free Software Foundation, the first member of project GNU, wrote everyone's favorite shell (bash), built the first online banking software and created a web programming language a decade before rails.
