“Best of Computing Books” list selects book edited by CS Prof. Teofilo Gonzalez
Computing Reviews has published its 19th Annual Best of Computing Notable Books and Articles List. This year it includes a handbook edited by Professor Gonzalez in the software category. The book, “Computing Handbook, Third Edition: Computer Science and Software Engineering,” examines the elements involved in designing and implementing software, new areas in which computers are being used, and ways to solve computing problems.

Professor Gonzalez also received an Exceptional Service Award for his editorship service for the International Journal of Computers and Applications published by Acta Press. He is also serving his ninth (fifth consecutive) year as Area Editor of IEEE Transactions on Computers. He also serves as Area Editor of ACM Computing Surveys and other journals.
