Prof. Matthew Turk to receive the 2011-2012 Fulbright-Nokia Distinguished Chair in Information and Communications Technologies

Professor Matthew Turk, from the Department of Computer Science and the Media Arts and Technology Graduate Program, has been selected to receive a 2011-2012 Fulbright-Nokia Distinguished Chair in Information and Communications Technologies. The Fulbright Distinguished Chair position is viewed as among the most prestigious appointments in the Fulbright Scholar Program. With this position, Prof. Turk will spend three months in Finland, teaching and developing collaborative research at the University of Oulu and the University of Tampere.
