Congratulations to George Tzimpragos for the ACM SIGARCH/IEEE CS TCCA Outstanding Dissertation Award!
This award recognizes excellent thesis research by doctoral candidates in the field of computer architecture. This is an awesome recognition of the outstanding research contributions of George’s UCSB thesis “Computing with Temporal Operators” (with advisor Tim Sherwood). Special thanks also go to Yufei Ding, Yu Feng, and Jim Smith for their guidance on his committee.
George recently finished his first year as an assistant professor in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
