The College of Creative Studies Transdisciplinary Fellow, Tracy Fullerton (game designer, professor, and director emeritus of the USC Games program), is visiting UCSB on Wednesday 5/29!

She will be giving a morning talk at 9:30am - 11:30am at the MultiCultural Center Theater: From Page to Play: Translating Thoreau's Walden in a Videogame. Walden, a game is an open world experience that immerses players in Thoreau’s writings and ideas through its system, world and narrative design, providing an open-ended experience where players make their own choices about how to live a life of simplicity and balance.

There will be an afternoon game design workshop and UCSB student game demonstrations from 2:00pm - 4:00pm at the Digital Arts and Humanities Commons (DAHC).

These events are open to all students. Refreshments will be provided at both events!
