I am Yibo Zhu, a PhD candidate in Department of Computer Science, University of California, Santa Barbara. I am now working at Current Lab & Link Lab co-advised by Prof. Ben Y. Zhao and Prof. Heather Zheng. I received my bachelor degree from Tsinghua University in 2011.

I did an internship at Microsoft Research Asia, Beijing in 2011 (mentor: Dr. Chuanxiong Guo) and an internship at Microsoft Research, Redmond in 2013 (mentor:Dr. Jitu Padhye and Dr. Ming Zhang).

I am going to do another internship at MSR in summer 2014. My research interests include Data Center Networks, Mobile Networks and Online Social Networks. Here is my Curriculum Vitae [PDF]

Studied malicious crowdsourcing systems in which users are organized to post spams and fake reviews on Online Social Networks(OSN).

Developed Toread, a decentralized Network Coordinate (NC) program.

Project: Designed a Reliable Group Data Delivery (RGDD) system in Data Center Network.

Tsinghua Student Research Training: Automatic Control System Base on GSM Module and SOPC.
Advisor: Prof. Zhongxin Xu.
Compiled a uclinux operating system for Altera FPGA with NIOS-II SOPC.
Programmed C codes to drive an Ethernet card on FPGA board working in Internet.
