About me...

I am a PhD Candidate at the Computer Science Department,University of California Santa Barbara.

Before I started my PhD (fall 2006) I got a BS degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Belgrade, School of Electrical Engineering.

In the last few years I have also spent some time at Meraka Institute, South Africa, The University of Cambridge, UK, The University of Edinburgh, UK and University College Cork, Ireland.

My Research

My current research is focused on resource efficient wireless networking in rural areas of the developing world. I am broadly interested in anything that can be described as computer networking, distributed systems, mobile and embedded systems, interaction of technology and society.

I am, as member of MOMENT lab, supervised by professor Elizabeth Belding.
