My name is Kathy Macropol, and I am currently a Computer Science PhD student at UC Santa Barbara. My research interests lie mainly in data mining (especially graph mining) and bioinformatics. I am advised by Professor Ambuj Singh and work in the Data Mining and Bioinformatics Lab.

My MS degree was in Computer Science from CSU Channel Islands, and I have a BS in Chemistry from UCLA and an AA in Liberal Arts from Ventura College.
