CS 290G Project Requirements

• A project group consists of at most two people.
• You are expected to study, investigate, or implement and then write a paper or presentation using LaTeX.
• There are essentially 3 types of projects:
  • Tutorials: Pick a topic, find several papers covering it, study and understand them well, and then write a short tutorial or survey paper or presentation.
  • Software implementation: Pick an algorithm and a platform and implement the algorithm with a particular set of objectives in mind (speed, security, or power). Create the software and write a short presentation in addition to the usual documentation.
  • Original work: It is not unlikely you will discover a new method, algorithm, implementation method or improve and existing one. Write a paper describing it.
